“And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”- Matthew 28:18-20
Christ’s words here are known as the Great Commission, Jesus’ last words to His disciples before He ascended to His Father in heaven. These are marching instructions for Christians, as we proclaim Christ to a lost and dying world. Our aim is to glorify God in all we do, as we live life, and fulfill this Great Commission through the power of the Spirit.
